Maintenance
Tenants log all maintenance issues
through the
CBG
Maintenance Portal
which enables tenants to:
- Log a maintenance request
- View and track open maintenance
requests
- Add comments to an open case
- View comments added by CBG
Maintenance
- View closed maintenance requests
The maintenance portal assists in the
management of a maintenance request lifecycle from
logging, tracking and resolving for both the tenant and
CBG Maintenance ensuring a rapid response to resolving
any maintenance issues.
Tenancy Management
Tenants can contact us between the
hours of 9 am and 6 pm, Monday - Friday to discuss any tenancy issues
that may occur during the tenancy. We offer discounts
to those wishing to sign a tenancy for a period greater
than a year. We also pay a £50 commission fee to any
existing tenant that refers a prospective tenant to us
that subsequently signs a tenancy agreement for one of
our properties.
Rent a Room
Fill in a tenant information form and
pay a £100 administration fee (non-returnable) to
secure your room. On return of the tenancy
contract a deposit equivalent to 6 weeks rent is payable
which we hold throughout your tenancy.
We can
only accept tenants of 18 years old and over.
By law, all landlords in England and
Wales taking deposits on assured shorthold tenancies
after 6th April 2007 must join a government-authorised
tenancy deposit protection scheme. We have joined
Tenancy Deposit Solutions
www.mydeposits.co.uk and register all deposits taken
after the 6th April 2007 with this scheme. Once
you have paid your deposit you will receive your deposit
protection documentation through the post from Tenancy
Deposit Solutions.
All rent is payable by standing order,
monthly or termly
for ease and convenience of the tenants and landlord.
We require a guarantor for all
tenants.
When attending a viewing of a property
please make sure you have the following information
available as this will be required to reserve a room:
- ID verification (copy of passport
or photo drivers licenses)
- Details of university and course
attending
- Guarantor details
- Bank account details
- NI number or passport number if a
foreign national.
Utility
Bills
We charge our tenants £50 per
month for the duration of the tenancy to
cover utility payments (Gas and Electricity).
The
payment of £50 per month has been
calculated having regard to the average usage of an
individual in a shared occupancy house.
Water and broadband rates are paid by the landlord.
